Panel Discussion on
Global Preterm Births & Stillbirths

February 23 at 9:30AM

The National Press Club
Washington, D.C.

Overall child health is improving, but one million deaths from prematurity and three million stillbirths still occur each year worldwide. The United Nations Millennium Development Goals to reduce maternal and child deaths can be accelerated by reducing preterm births and stillbirths—as many maternal, newborn and child health outcomes are inseparable. Momentum is building as interdisciplinary stakeholders collaborate to address prematurity and stillbirth.
